“Corryard, have been shortlisted for the prestigious Scottish Home Awards in the “Conversion of the Year” and “Small House Builder of the Year” categories for their work at Benheath House in Crieff.
Benheath once served as a boarding house for Morrison’s Academy and had been transformed into 9 luxury apartments. John Burke, managing director of Corryard commented “when we took on this project we were aware it was a huge responsibility as the building overlooks Macrosty Park in Crieff and is somewhat of an icon in the town. We wanted to make sure we kept the traditional Victorian exterior of the building while incorporating modern contemporary design. With only the 2 penthouse apartments (2 bedroom apartments) remaining we’re thrilled that it’s been received so well in the local community and further afield.
Corryard are hoping their success in renovation projects will continue with their next development Dalmhor House in Crieff, next to the Crieff Hydro main gates. The project comprises converting the Victorian Mansion and Coach House into large apartments as well as some new in the surrounding land”
